Orientation dates

Orientation is compulsory for all students.

At Orientation, you will find out all the information you need to know to begin your course(s). It's also a chance to meet other students and your lecturers. 

ORIENTATION DATES for VET Students
Semester 1 commences on 5 February and your study area orientation will be on or before this date.
Please make sure you are aware of when Orientation is happening.

Orientation for International students
For new International students enrolling in courses delivered at Perth, East Perth, Leederville, Mount Lawley, and Nedlands campuses, your Orientation will be held:
Date      Tuesday 23 January
Time     9:30 am Registration starts at 8:00am. Students are required to stay until 4:00pm to finalise enrolment.
Venue   Lecture Theatre, Ground Floor, 25 Aberdeen St Northbridge (entrance via Museum St) 
 
For new International students enrolling in courses delivered at Balga, Clarkson, Joondalup (Kendrew), Midland and Joondalup (McLarty) campuses, your Orientation will be held:
Date     Wednesday 24 January
Time     9:30am Registration starts at 8:30am. Students are required to stay until 1:30pm to finalise enrolment.
Venue   Room E21, Block E, 35 Kendrew Crescent, Joondalup 
 
Students are required to bring their passport, visa letter, Confirmation of Enrolment (CoE), copy of Letter of Offer (electronic copy is acceptable) received from TAFE International Western Australia (TIWA), and receipt of payment of tuition fees. Students are to provide their Unique Student Identifier (USI) and have money to pay for resource fees in order to complete enrolment.

 

Please note that all students enrolled at a TAFE college in Australia need to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). The USI is linked to your enrolment record and provides you with easy access to your training records and results whenever you need them. You need to create your USI prior to attending your designated orientation session. To create your USI go to http://www.usi.gov.au.
